Cargo worthy containers are used shipping containers that still qualify and meet industry standards for shipping overseas. The primary difference between these and containers in Wind and Water Tight condition is that a third party inspection is completed and a certificate is issued stating the unit is seaworthy. Such as with the Wind and Water Tight containers, these units are more likely to have some wear and tear, such as dents, scratches, surface rust, faded paint, dings, and patch work repairs.
