Wind and water-tight containers are used shipping containers that still seal tightly, able to prevent the entry of wind and water, but are no longer suitable for international shipping. These containers will most likely show wear and tear, as with the cargo-worthy containers, but may also have imperfect roof pits, and bows, floor delamination, and the doors may not swing as efficiently as higher-grade containers. These containers are considered the most affordable and well-suited for the storage of items needing protection from the elements.
